A sauna cabin is more than just a sauna
In a sauna cabin, there’s no need to rush out of the steam—you can linger, cool off, and enjoy the atmosphere. The lounge area offers space for relaxing, dining, or even spending the night. It can serve as guest quarters, a remote work space, or your own peaceful retreat in the midst of everyday life.
You can choose whether you want a traditional living room, a modern lounge area, or even a small kitchenette next to the sauna. A high-quality wood-burning or electric stove, log walls, and carefully finished surfaces make the sauna cabin a cozy and durable space.

Frequently Asked Questions About Salvos Sauna Cabins
Do you need a building permit to build a sauna cabin?
In most cases, yes, because a sauna cabin includes both a sauna and a lounge area. The Salvos Oikeastivalmis™ concept includes applying for the permit on your behalf—at no additional cost.
Can you stay overnight in the sauna cabin?
Yes. A sauna cabin can be equipped with, for example, a sofa bed, storage solutions, and even a kitchenette. It works great as a guest cabin or a separate sleeping area.
How much can you customize a sauna cabin?
Extensively. You can influence the floor plan, heating, choice of materials, interior and exterior finishes, lighting, and many other details. This way, you’ll get a sauna cabin that’s perfectly suited to your needs and the surrounding landscape.
