A ready-made log cottage is suitable for year-round use
Ready-made log cottages are generally thought of as summer cottages, but Salvos ready-made log cottages also offer the perfect setting for winter use. Insulation in the roof and floor, multi-pane windows, and airtight doors keep the ready-made log cottage warm and cozy in all weather conditions.
Other extras for ready-made log cottages also add convenience and charm to cottage life. A fireplace is the heart of a ready-made log cottage and the perfect solution for heating; high-quality appliances make chores easier; and a glazed deck lets you enjoy your time outdoors well into the fall. You can choose the features that best suit your own style of cottage life.
A ready-made Salvos log cottage means unforgettable, sunny summer moments, family Christmases surrounded by snowdrifts, and skiing among snow-laden spruces. It also means fall trips to pick mushrooms and admire the autumn colors, as well as marveling at the first signs of spring. A ready-made log cottage is exactly what you want.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ready-Made Log Cottages
Are the cottages really delivered to the lot fully built?
Yes. Salvos ready-made log cottages are delivered fully finished – either as a single unit or in modules. For example, a ready-made sauna is delivered to the site ready for use: the electrical work, sauna stove, and finishing touches have all been completed at the factory. At best, installation on site takes just half an hour.
How soon will the cottage be ready for use?
Salvos ready-made log cottages are manufactured at the factory in about nine days. On-site installation is extremely fast – individual buildings can be ready for use on the same day. For larger projects, installation takes no more than a few days.
Can I customize a ready-made log cottage to suit my own preferences?
Yes, you can. Every Salvos building is custom-designed to meet the customer’s specific needs. You can choose from a variety of floor plans, log options, equipment levels, and exterior styles. The design is free of charge, and based on it, you’ll receive a fixed-price quote.
